Aussie Rules Sports Night

Dueling pianos, NHL playoff hockey and delicious pub food is what you can expect at Aussie Rules Sports Night.

Back again this year by popular demand, the Dueling Pianos will bring their brand of interactive entertainment to Aussie Rules Sports Night. Dueling Pianos is two pianos, four hands and any song that you want to hear! After a day of sessions, this is the perfect venue to let loose and go wild!

Western Barbeque

This is an event not to be missed, as it has been a delegate favorite for years.

Well-known Canadian comedian, Ron James, headlines the evening’s entertainment.

This casual, western-themed evening will be held at one of Banff’s most popular destinations. With true western hospitality, you will be treated to an evening that includes private coach transportation to and from the venue, a delicious Alberta beef buffet dinner, exceptional entertainment, music, dancing and an unlimited amount of fun!

Awards of Distinction

The annual Awards of Distinction will be held in conjunction with the Petroleum Safety Conference. Deserving recipients will be recognized in the following categories:

Achiever/Leadership Award:
This award recognizes non-health and safety professionals who have made a difference within the petroleum industry.

Significant Contribution Award:
Open to health and safety professionals who having made an impact in their profession.

Special Merit Award:
This award recognizes individuals who have made an important impact in health and safety, but are not eligible for either of the two previous awards.

All award winners will be chosen by the Awards of Distinction Selection Committee, and will be presented at the 2008 Petroleum Safety Conference. Deadline for nominations is Monday, March 3, 2008.
